Paleontology – Climate Change in the Fossil Record
On Natures Talk Shows Fine Art of Paleontology the hosts will be discussing evidence of what we are experiencing now in the fossil record. Through the thousands of years the earth has undergone many climate changes and evidence shows in fossil records.Climate change has occurred repeatedly throughout Earth?s history, but the recent rate of global warming far exceeds that of any previous episode in the past 10,000 years or longer. Knowing how climate change altered the interactions between plants and animals in the past may help us understand whether there are identifiable patterns that could give us clues into what will happen in the future.
